Where in the world?: Half of Africa, plus parts of Australia, South America, and India.

How's the weather?: Dry and warm. Temps between 68° and 86°F, with 10 to 30 inches of rainfall per year.

Animals: African elephants, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, rhinos, hyenas, and gazelles, plus meerkats, stinging ants and termites, ostriches, oxpeckers, vultures, and more!

Plant life: Mostly grasses, plus a few shrubs and the Acacia and Baobab trees.

People presence: Maasai nomads, Kikuyu farmers, and Dorobo hunter-gatherers, among others.
