Animals: More than half of the world’s animal and plant species come from tropical forests! Tropical forests are home to numerous primates; great cats; snakes, turtles, frogs, and other reptiles; tropical birds; and thousands of species of insects.
Plant life: Plant life is over one square mile of forest may contain more than 100 different tree species. Other plants, like orchids, bromeliads, vines (lianas), ferns, mosses, and palms, are also plentiful.
