Partner Network

iQ Zoo is a national project developed by WQED Multimedia, the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium, and PBS KIDS GO! iQ Zoo is available for replication by other partnering PBS stations and zoos across the country, and has already been adopted in Austin, Texas by our colleagues at KLRU-TV and the Austin Zoo & Animal Sanctuary:

KLRU-TV, Austin PBS, reflects, celebrates and inspires Central Texas through creative excellence, community engagement and lifelong learning.

The Austin Zoo & Animal Sanctuary assists animals through rescue, rehabilitation and education. Austin Zoo & Animal Sanctuary is a rescue Zoo. Animal residents have been rescued from unfortunate circumstances or surrendered to the zoo by owners who can no longer take care of them properly. Residents range from former circus animals, monkeys who have spent their entire lives in laboratory research centers, to exotic birds and animals kept inappropriately as pets. The Austin Zoo & Animal Sanctuary provides a safe and secure home for animals so that they may live the rest of their lives in the peace and comfort they deserve.
